As a Lakeview/Wrigleyville/Boystown resident since 2012, Christie “Kit” Welch, is your local expert! Having lived in many other cities throughout her life, Kit understands all that Chicago has to offer; from the lake to the historic architecture, and all the amazing restaurants to the people, Kit is always eager to share her love of the city with her clients. Kit first settled down in the area with her wife, 3 dogs, and 2 cats (“the zoo” as she calls it) and hasn’t left since! A big believer in giving back, when Kit is not selling real estate, you’ll find her volunteering throughout the city. Deeply ingrained in the communities of Lakeview, Wrigleyville and Boystown, Kit proudly dedicates time to strengthening the community through her involvement with the LBGT Chamber of Commerce, and as a Board member for the Grace Condos Association, the East Lakeview Neighbors Association, and The Legacy Project. In addition to her neighborhood involvement, Kit volunteers as a Wild Reef Diver at the Shedd Aquarium. Building and promoting community is Kit’s passion, and at the heart of her business and life.
